AHAaaa, but now I have no "Addon Scenery" above it, should ther be one?.

Not sure what you've done there. Did you delete the scenery & texture folders from the Addon Scenery folder? If so, create new ones.

The Addon Scenery folder is activated by default although there is no scenery in it. It must have those scenery & texture sub-folders to be listed on the Scenery Library menu.

I did this:

and now the scenery changed but only added a lot of blocks, no improved realism in road mapping.

Must be a gimmic.

I would hardly think it's a gimmick.

Wish I could try it for you but that's not possible without the full FSX. The files are very big downloads for something I have no use for.

exactly, I do not have any use of this kind of scenery & out it goes, is not like the realistic UK foto scenery I used in fs9, but anyway thanks to you I learned something.

I use FSX daily, especially IFR with an FMC I installed on 2-3 small jets, makes it close to real Jet flying & navigating once aloft.

thanx, .......nick

PS downloading OK now.

OK. I'm glad you learned something by it.

Make sure you delete the Europe Global entry from the Scenery Library menu before removing it from the Addon Scenery folder.

Im having a problem downloading.

I use Mozilla, and every time I try downloading, I get a .PART file instead of your .zip.

I've been using Simviation for years now, and I just got my new comp and started flying again.

This angers me >( lol.

Sorry to hear of your problem.

If you read this you will read [glow=yellow,2,300]# Partial Go!Zilla Download  Used by Mozilla products for a partial download. The file is created for the download and, when complete, the file is renamed without the .PART extension.[/glow]

It seems something is preventing a complete download. As this is on a new system it is likely to be some new software you have running.
Try IE to see if it is only associated with FF - if you still have the problem in IE then have a look at what tools (such as firewall settings or security tools) you may be running that could be effecting downloading.

Feedback would be appreciated.

It's not FF -- it's your system & how you have FF/other tools set up.

FF tends to have less problems on this site than IE. It is always user systems and additional things running that cause connection problems.
