"Unable to connect"

Postby runningdeer » Fri Feb 08, 2008 5:43 am

Hello. I haven't been able to download from the simviation dl window that pops up when you try to dl something.

I recently upgraded my membership to premium. It seems since then that I cannot dl from the general dl area. But...If I go to the premier members dl page, then I can dl from there. Thats cool, but I cannot seem to find the aircraft that I want, that is found in the general dl area. Heres the page I call the general dl area, where my aircraft is that I want: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props54.htm. Its the Maul M-7-260 6 pack...I cannot seem to dl from this page, from the dl window that pops up...says 'unable to connect'.

Thanx for your time.

Must be a problem with the server. I can't download any files from that page or the previous one.

That's one of our old servers. May need a reboot  -- funny that as it had it's last reboot about 5 years ago  ;) (Don't you just love those alternative operating systems!)

Will report back ....

Edit:

Phew - seems to have done the trick. Always a bhit nerve racking rebooting live servers.  [smiley=guin.gif]

I am also having a problem downloading from the second page of the FS2004 military on premium. Haven't tried it on non-members, but it seems like it may be the same problem.

Edit- I can download it from the non members. But I'd still like to get more than 30kbs  :-/
