new downloads

Postby piersyf » Tue Jun 05, 2007 6:47 pm

Hi guys. Just had a look at the new a/c added to the downloads list. 2 of them come up as 'no such file or directory' when I try to download them. They're the CFS2 Dornier Do-17z. (Model file, airfile, DP, and textures by Thicko. Panel by Lobo de Silva DP edit by Sandydog. Prop texture by Kelticheart. 7.3MB) and the CFS2 Messerschmitt Bf109H-1 Package, both on page 119.

How can this be? If the files have had a name change shouldn't the link on the downloads page change too? Has anyone else had this problem?

You're quite right Piers. All the links on that page seem to be dead. It's easily fixed.

Maybe one of the mods can move this topic to the Broken Links forum so Pete sees it when he comes online.

Thanks, Hagar. I've had server issues over the last week or two, so it's good to know it isn't just me.

In the past I have run into this. I enter the site thru the home page and go to CFS2, downloads, aircraft.  I go to the last page and don't have any problem downloading.   don

I hate when this happens:  I went to the home page, CFS2, aircraft and to the last page.
The A/C don't seem to be there......   maybe this is why I don't post much...don

Which page are you talking about? This is the last page of CFS2 Aircraft. http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft119.htm
The problem that Piers reported appears to have been fixed.

Not sure what o you mean -- but the last page had some broken links due to my error caused by some aircraft being for FS & CFS - If I'm under pressure this is a pain in the rear as CFS & FS are completely separate & require special attention if for both ...

B links fixed. Apologies.

Hey guys. Fraid the links aren't fixed (for me). Well, the Do17z2 is (just downloaded that fine) but the 109H series file still comes up as 'no such file or directory'.

I've also managed the Lysander file just fine as well.

OK, not sure if anyhting changed since my last post, so this is mostly an FYI post. Just tried the 109H series download on page 119 and it worked fine. It didn't a few hours ago.

Thanks
