Avatar Problems

I cannot change my avatar. went to change it, but now no matter what i set as a avatar, none shows up. good luck!

When you put the link to the avatar in do you leave the [img] tags out? .... that could be the problem.

no, i leave them in. as i always have. hmmmmmmmmm.....

I was able to get it to change to bart, but it won't accept custom avatars.  :'(

First upload a suitable image in JPEG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) format & less than 10K & 100 pixels wide.
Then open your Profile, click the "I have my own pic" option & paste the path to the image you just uploaded without the [img] brackets into the box next to it.

I've been on this forum for a year+ and changed my avatar before, but due to my EXTREME stupidity, i simply forgot to leave them out.  ::)
