Hi Bert, sorry for your problems.

This has been talked about a lot since we split the files into 2 different servers - FTP (free) & http (members) ... some people are having temporary problems on the FTP server

Please read this - it should answer your question & resolve your problem..

Please let me know if you have further problems

thanks for your reply.
but i cann't understand that "permission denied" is the same as "server to buzzy"
i never had any downloadproblem before and since 2005 i get only "permission denied"; very strange! :'(

Bert - you have to describe what you are trying to do & what browser you are using.

If you are using IE or Firefox - & simply clicking a file on a page you should not be getting 'Permission denied' - you file should download without problems.

If you are you may be using a download manager or your firewall settings may be set too high.

Without knowing what you are doing it's impossible to answer your question ....

I am using IE6.028, Firefox1.0 and LeechGet1.1(downloadacc) no influence with or without this prog
also a firewall, but it doesn't matter when it is on or off
I really don't understand why it worked so well before

It has to be something on your system or ISP - do you use a proxy server?

Like I said - all downloading is normal from our servers & it should work fine for you too - as it does for the majority.

The files on the free site (we now also have a Members Site) were transfered to a FTP server back in November - (to control bandwidth which would have caused me to go bust if I didn't do this)  & some users had problems

See this
http://www.simviation.com/accessprob.htm

However - like I said - all stats are back to normal now which means very few are having any trouble.
