Oregon in Autumn

'Lo!

Hey, I just (last night) uploaded my first FS9 vid to SimTeeVee. It's here.

It's not the best, and the CRG scenery combined with Fraps eats the frame rates, but it's OK for a first attempt, I think. :)

Cheers!

I'm always a chopper fan! I loved it ..... Where did you learn the start up procedure? It was great!

Hi Pete, thanks! The startup procedure comes with the Dodosim aircraft's manual and it's pretty much exact to the real thing. I'm no heli pilot but I love accurate procedures in my FS aircraft and I did a bit of Youtubing and found a few good startup vids that helped as well. I had to guess at a few things - I don't know exactly when to turn on the oil cooler blower for instance, it's a dummy switch in the model so I flick it during the spoolup, which seems to make sense to me. I'd also love to learn more about proper use of the rotor governor.
Glad you liked it. :)

That's a lovely video, the music really adds to the serenity.

I'd love to be able to pilot Heli's like that, it's something I've never really got the hang of in FS..  :P

Nice one  :)
