Medal Of Honor

If you have a few select EA games registered they give you a beta multilayer key. I think it was because I have Bad Company 2 and Crysis Warhead... not sure. Has potential to be a great game, but it needs lots of tweaking, balancing... e.g. the majority of my deaths were from artillery... etc... gameplay is similar to Call of Duty. Engine is the same as Bad Company 2 so very quad core dependent, but should run fine 1920*1080 on a 5770, GTX 260, or 4870. I average about 65fps 1920*1080 maxed out, 2x AA, 16x AF, without HBAO. I'll probably wait a month or two after release so I can get it for $20 or so.

So its not a massive winner? I'm suspecting this to be a bad attempt to clone CoD4.

It's BETA so many things are buggy. The server browser for example, is completely broken. Might be a winner if all the bugs were fixed, but it's hard to tell since there's only two maps, and I can only play on overseas servers so I'm constantly lagging.

The only thing I dont like to hear, is that it is graphically based on Bad company 2. Because while BFBC2 beats COD hands down in my opinion, the one area it did let itself down, was the graphics.

Not going to lie but even for a beta it looks disappointing, EA really shouldn't lie when they put out trailers and such. Every gameplay video I've seen of the beta looks nothing like the trailer quality.

Another poor MoH title. :/

trailers are probably pre-rendered videos, so not actual footage.

Also I'm pretty sure multiplayer uses a different engine to single player. I tend to not watch trailers so I don't disappoint myself though... I found the beta to be better than most people said it was on the internet.
