It was great on PS3 and I've heard it is quite good on PC too.

I think that's an internet spin off of Birds of Prey (IL-2) for the PS3 and 360: http://www.il2game.com/
I don't know, it looks eerily similar  :-/

In short you're better off getting a copy of IL-2, which costs very little these days, and was made for PC.

I just downloaded the demo and I am rather impressed.  It ran quite smooth on my somewhat older computer and it's quite fun.  Thumbs up from me too.  Give it a try:  http://www.gamershell.com/download_54548.shtml

I got it during the STEAM sale for 24 bucks and have not even started it up yet. So much to play and too little time.
