:o WOW that looks great! I may have to give this Xplane a try, all the shots you've posted look great, and it got a rather nice review in PC Pilot too.  Man that water is stunning! Got any shots of some bluer tropical waters?

looks similar to FS9... except the water of course. I'd like to give this a try some day as well

Ive been reading up...still not much in the way of add-ons yet...and it looks like the crew at xplane are focused on the iPhone app, a case of follow the money.....but there is a big update to version 9 in the works...

Up until this version I have never been so tempted to give X-plane another try. (I had bought version 6 and it was no good).

I guess I will wait some more to see how things around this X-plane version develop before I give it a shot.

Something that caught me off guard...a bird strike...a flock of birds were hanging out around the runway and BAMO! :o Scared the crap out of me...had to ditch into the Hudson ;D ;D

is it too heavy on hardware? (as compared to FSX)
