Can we have a BF2 server without the PR mod as I think the PR mod won't let us play on other ranked servers. The PR mod is great but I would like to enjoy the basic BF2 at times.

If a normal map make it Karkand.

PR has nothing to do with Ranking.....



I mean on other ranked servers. i get a PB saying that the servers won't accept modified game files. Is there an upade? :-?

you should be able to select whether or not you have a mod active from the BF2 menu.

What do you mean in the menu? I just boot up BF2 or PR. I make no settings.

Yes, there should be a mod selection.

Double check you are booting up vanilla BF2 a1. ;)

OK ...

I insert CD
Double click the BF2 icon on my desktop.
Goes to the loading movie
I click my account name
I login to the main BF2 menue which has a EA message about Highway Tampa
Click multiplayer and select ranked servers
Loads but can't join.




That's what i do.

yes, try getting it from gamershell.com, they normally have fast speeds,

though the best thing to do is not to delete it after you have installed it ;)

upgrade the teachies to tech2

then updgrade ur commander to tech2,

then the same to tech 3

on the way u have to build 2 tech 2 power gens and a mass fabricator or you may run into some super low resources while building hte first tech 3 structures.

Looks like I can't play BF2 with you guys. I uninstalled the mod and everything went back to normal. With the mod I get the message.  :(
