I still feel it's a major step backwards.

Well, I think it will be at least as good as COD4, maybe better. I heard you can use vehicles in MP.

I love CoD games too. But I do agree that the game should at lease follow CoD4 with a story line. I really love the story line of CoD 4 and was hoping CoD5 would continue from it.

We'll just see how CoD5 goes.

If they do anything with "battle actions" I'm boycotting treyarch forever.

I hated those, still do, always will.

I wish IW would develop it though...

i should imagine this will be the last CoD game to be set in ww2 as its the last theatre of war to be done, its simply finishing of the CoD series if you will, but CoD4 deffinatly needs a add on, it would be so cool to play from the russian PoV

If they would release addons like BF2, then they would be invincible in the game industry.

But they better not go into futuristic combat like Battlefield 2142.

Yeah, the weapons in 2142 where outright unrealistic, the sound was even worse, it felt like shooting with a child's toy. Whilst the sounds in BF2 were great. :(

For those interested in this tidbit:

Call of Duty 5 is being designed by the same company who did Call of Duty 3. CoD3 is considered the "worst" of the games in the series (Still good, but pales in comparison to the rest).

Call of Duty 6, however, is being designed by the team from Call of Duty(ies) 1, 2, and 4. Three of the greatest FPS games of their time.

While I'm not looking forward to CoD5; CoD6 will be high on my list  :D
