Looking for a few new games...

Postby Wii » Mon May 12, 2008 7:32 pm

I am in need of some new games...good ones anyways. Freeware or payware. I was thinking of getting the Orange Box, are those games any good? Team Fortress looks like a lot of fun. :-?

Americas Army is good, and free.

I personally despise America's Army. Too many cheaters and the game is horribly biased online. Lags a lot too.

Orange Box is a great combo, all the games in it are great graphics and gameplay wise. A must buy.

The Orange box is definately a good choice IMO...

Portal alone makes this pack a must-buy... not to mention the rest

but truste me, you'll love Portal.. IMO one of the best games ever made

(btw, the cake is a lie  ;) )

Cheers

I played Half Life one and the TF1 the other day. My dad had them at his workplace and he likes the game so I am gonna see if I can get it...Portal looks challenging, but fun and Team Fortress looks like freakin awesome mp fun.

YES!  And portal is sold seperately now.  Portal is amazing.  The only problem is that it's VERY short, I mean on a speed run I finished in 45 minutes (the WHOLE game).

but its good that portal is short, because it doesnt get stale, and tbh their is not that many more ways u can implement the portal quizzes

TF2 is ok but its been ruined with some super weapons and stuff and just is not fun any more :(

America Army is a good free game, alot of depth to it and a nice training system.

Portal IS sold seperately or you can BUY it seperately? If that makes any sense...

I think I know what you mean...

It comes with the orange box but now you can buy it as a stand alone product.

indeed. best flight dynamics i've ever seen on a fighter sim!! amazing stuff indeed

one of my favorite things to do in IL2 was just to fly through thick AAA, until my plane was nearly shredded to pieces... hen i'd try to make it back  to base alive ;D ...or at least crash land without exploding

i surely will be playing that again once i get my X52

Cheers

The Orange Box is great i reckon, but Team Fortress is the most boring game i've ever played! I don't get how people like it!
