Nice shots of a great game. 8-)

Do you need Live Gold, or can you get screens off your XBOX with just Silver?

IIRC you can do it with Silver because transferring your screens to the PC has nothing to do with Live, since there is a function built in to connect to a computer.

All I know is that this game is amazing. It looks really, really good, and they didn't screw it up like halo 2.  I think bungie was on crack when they came up with the storyline, but that makes it a bit interesting.

hmm? the screenshots get sent via the internet all the way to the Bungie server for you to pick up. though gold is just there for playing online so i guess it could work because of that

and yeh, the game is pretty neat- shame most of my friends are higher ranks than me... my friend has had the game for 1 week and is as high a rank (sergeant grade 3 i think it is) and ive played since release and i am the same rank. i just dont like to play matchmaking constantly

OMG that lightng engine is horrible. the bloom is way to over done. developers keep ruining games by wacking the bloom up to blind or epilepsy level

the effects were done by shoving the camera into a grenade blast... theres gonna be quite a bit of bright inside there  ;)

other than that, the lighting is really nice in the game.
