The SimV Holiday Calendar!

Postby Anxyous » Wed Oct 15, 2008 9:39 am

I've got an idea for this years' christmas...

I'm going to make a holiday calendar with 24 doors, each conceiling a screenshot from FS.

Each day of the holiday, I'll open a door, and post a screenshot for that day.

What I'd like you guys to do, is to each send me one or two screenies, with a christmassy holiday theme of course.

Freeware as well as payware welcome, they can be slightly edited as well, but no abstract art :P

I'd like to see some new shots from you guys, but I'll accept shots that have already been posted ;)

Deadline should be November 27th, so I got some time to set it all up.

I hope to see some shots from all you guys! :)

Now that is a very creative idea! I like this way of thinking!

I will send you one or two screenshots.

You might want to contact Pete and Dave about this too ... maybe they have a couple of ideas about this themselves (more exposure)

Good luck!

Well this is a great idea. I have a couple of what I think you might like from awhile back. I'll send them to you.

Cool idea!! You could have one thread and post one thumbnail (of a door  :)) with a 'hidden' pic in a new post on that thread every day. Getting 24 Christmassy shots together may be tricky though, keep us updated as to how many you still need!

I'd say they should be PMed to you so they really are a surprise... :)

My current idea is to get the best pic I get from you guys (or the most fitting) through Photoshop and MS Paint, and create 24 doors on it, and each day replace a door with a small pic, and post the full pic as well.

Doability might be a small issue though, so your idea could definitely work! I'll look into it, thanks! :)

Of course, it'd be ideal with a flash page with 24 separate, clickable doors on a background, but I can only dream of that
