Does anyone know of a decent, realisitic looking Spitfire for fs9 or fsx? Im very suprised i can only find 5 or 6, and they all appear to be cfs conversions, and therefore not much cop :(

Even one with a repaint kit so i could have a bash at my own.....

I did find a payware one that offers a 'free fully functioning demo' - as this is technically free and anyone can download it, would it count or is that a little unfair? I only mention it because last month some 'betas' of payware were used....

I know alphasim has one as freeware but the link seems to be broken. I would see if you can find it on another site, that is if its still available.

I tried the irish trainer but I thought the textures were a bit flat for making a good screenie ;)

I'll second the question... and add that some one (don't remember who) used the demo in question in one of the previous contests without getting DQ'd...

If you can legitimately download it for free and everybody can get it, then it can be used.

ok cheers - ill add a link to it once ive figured a shot if i use it so everyone else can find it if required, though i found it pretty quick in my recent monstrous 'Spitfire' search!!

Im quite suprised at the lack of Spits for fs2004/fsx, its one of those aircraft that youd think there would be millions!

Im sure i recall downloading loads in the cfs1 days, obviously things move on and those  once 'great' planes dont go so well in fs9!

Awesome.... I came on here to ask the exact question that Todayshorse asked. So... I dont need to ask it now! Got my answer, thanks!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Yes... you may resize down to a maximum of 1024x?, but no cropping is allowed.

Okay you guys (yep Fozzer) deleted it. It took a while to fill up that whole box too. No but in all seriousness, it was a good idea to put that up before everyone started asking about it.
