Not sure about your jaggies if they are not there pre-shot, what are you using to capture the screenshot? And what format are you capturing in?

Theres probably a simpler way to save with irfanview to get 150k but i take mine in .bmp format with fraps, do whatever i need to do with the shot then use irfanview to resize and save as a jpeg.

I tend to stick with 800x600 regardless of the limits on here because you end up scrolling half the shot to see it all, so using the 'save as' in irfanview, i select jpeg, a box appears with a slider for save quality.

I just experiment with anything above 85 on the slider and check whats saved until i get around 140-150k.

Im guessing theres a better way but thats how i do it!

Well that looks reasonable, have you got one that looks a bit rough?

Do they look pretty sharp if you resize to the limit on here of 1024?

yes it seems that when i resize to sim specs, it look ok, but the original screenshot is fuzzy...and the game sharp...oh well..maybe its nvidia display problem...

You could try cracking up the sharpening in your Nvidia control center. That is what I do and I believe they turn out really nice ...

thanks, will check on it harold......by the way i tried screenshots with fsx-xp and they were sharp...but with vista ....jagged edges (different than antialiasing jagged edges) they are rougher and not so uniform.....

exactly the reason why I switched back to Windows XP after trying Vista for a bit. I too have a Nvidia card and I just couldn't get it to work.

I guess I should've listened to the experts ::)
