Very good. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Great angle and colors. It has a great mood to it. A bit more clouds would have been nice but this is just fine. ;)

Indeed getting much better. There's a couple of things you could still do, but otherwise going very well.

Those things are;
Try not to cut bits of the wing off of your aircraft.
Like a1 said, have more clouds.
And try to get rid of the jaggies in your shot, either by turning Anti-aliasing on in your graphics card intrface, or, if you don't have a good enough card to do that, get irfanview and use the resample feature to resize your shots - it does a great job of smoothing out jaggedy edges.

You are improving at a rate of knots though mate - I look forward to more from you!! :D

Getting better - a couple of other things though;
You need to get some better water textures - there are plenty of freeware options. I'll find links in a minute.
The shot looks a bit over-compressed - what program are you using to compress your images?
The clouds need to be more elaborate still - do you have your cloud settings set to 'simple clouds'? The best effects by far are garnered with the higher settings.
The carrier looks a wee bit dark, but there's not much that can be done about that other than changing the conditions of your flight which can in some cases ruin the other elements of your shot.
And of course the jaggies that you already mentioned.

On the other hand, there are several very good bits;
Brilliant composition - balanced nicely with the carrier on one side and the jet on the other...
Nice angle on the plane - head on, looking menacing.
Great overall lighting.
Nice atmosphere.

:D

currently, I edit my photo's with a program called "the GIMP"

in order to save in a .jgp file, it needs to export it, and in the process, i can select at what % I save the file, which is where it is compressed.

I already have a water fix, but if you can find a better one, I'm all ears.

I'll look at my clouds here in a sec.

thanks everyone!

I may have failed to mention that this is in fs2002. all of my sliders a maxed out, and I'm still getting here. my video card and precessor are bound to restric it, but even maxed out, I really don;t have any lag.

are there any cloud add ons or aditional water fixes that I could add?

ahhh... I didn't know you were using FS2002. I use fs2004 and so probably can't help you with fs2002 water add-ons etc that may well be structured differently between the two sims. Sorry.

:) thats what i figured when you started talking about land a water settings. oh well, 2k2 will serve the purpose for now, although X or at least 9 would be nice :) but untill more money flow happens, that's not going to.   college is comming up and I already have a bank acct. on wheels called a 68 mustang.  poor me, not able to afford fsx  ;D
