Nice to see you posting! I like them both, if I have to find something wrong, then the clouds don't look very 3d...

The clouds seem to be a bit flat but the plane looks great.  ;)

The clouds are fs sky world, but i don't think i portrayed them well, the first looks straight down at them form far away, and in the second all of the clouds are the same distance away.

Try using the F1view utility to zoom in on the clouds, moving the plane "further and further away"so it doesn't get zoomed. You can get  some really ethereal cloud effects  that way, and it can also sharpen up the plane too.
