Improvements?

Postby Sooner266 » Mon Feb 05, 2007 4:13 pm

Hi guys, I just started working with photoshop. recently I've been working on getting reflections right, and I think this is my best reflection so far.

I know this is a very rough shot overall, but i can't think of how to improve it. Suggestions/constructive critism?

Sgt.Donut, isn't this right up your alley? What do you think?  :)

I'm no expert, but the chopper looks great to me, reflections and all. You did a good job on those. The lines in the background detract from the lovely sky - your addition or unwelcome visitors? The ground also looks mushy, but that's probably again due to your system...

i agree with krigl on this, the chopper is lovely but those lines across thes creen just loose so much quality in this shot. the ground looks
fine to me, well, it could be better but its goes well with the shot.
just those lines.....

looking promising tho so keep it up mate :D

thx for the tips guys. :)

the ground is actually packed full of trees, the contrast from the grain filter kinda mushes them together.

i will try it without the grain and see how it looks, i only put it on to minimize my systems lack of aliasing. but i'm sure there's another way to do that...
