I would never offer criticism unless people specifically ask for it (though I very occasionally break this rule - only human....).

Anyone who posts below par shots on this forum will soon stop doing it after looking around a bit, unless they're dead from the neck up. Or, their computer is ancient and there's nothing they can do. Or they have other priorities

Posting a screenshot is an implicit request for comments, and one can not assume they will all be positive.
Anyway, I found that I tend to get upset when *I* receive negative criticism about my shots, so I've adopted a rule of thumb: I only comment if I have something positive to say, unless there is an explicit request for criticism, and even in this case, I think twice before posting constructive criticism.
