Who am I to say, but it seems that it's been compressed too much.  The unnatural coloration at the edges of the wings against the gradient sky give it a subsequently unnatural feel.

That is the sole factor that is keeping this from being breath-taking, at least that's the first thing I noticed, otherwise the composition is fairly good.

It's waaaaayyy too compressed, but the sky is very misterous, and the plane is very detailed, and that contrast makes it really beautiful :)

What I praise:
- fantastic vibrant sky
- lovely choice of model and paint

What I would have done:
- more clouds (probably only cirrus are necessary; as is)
- higher cirrus if not above 40,000 (they don't seem like that to me)
- higher angled perspective to accomodate more zoom (since the aircraft is quite almost the only focus) while keeping a portion of the horizon in view.
- later time of dawn to facilitate less contrast on the aircraft (but this case is ok since later dawns produce less virbant colours)
