The depth you've created here is outstanding Immelman. One of the secrets to screenart success I feel is creating that "reach in and touch" perspective and you've definately acheived it here. Beautiful scenery cascading into the horizon....... I may have taken a few shots here and chosen one that had less vertical lines in the water texture. As we know water has a tendancy to pulsate, these lines show momentarily, then dis-appear then re-appear etc. With several pics in pause, you can choose the one that shows the least water deficiencies. One other issue may be the realism in the clouds. You could try to draw the bottoms down a bit or increase the draw distance etc. in FS9/weather settings. Try to avoid hard horizontal edges in your cloud structures. Apart from that, you've nailed a beauty here... :)

I would try 5/8 clouds, with better Ground / sea textures!

Other than that, nice shot!

Thanks for the comments, very helpful.  Ill keep them in mind.
I use silverwings textures because i do a lot of heli and low (not always slow) flying.  is there another set of textures that any of you would suggest?
