Edit This! EDIT-OFF! Cobra Vs. Lazerbeak

Postby Clipper » Wed Aug 02, 2006 7:49 pm

It's time for our first tie breaker in the Edit This! screenshot editing competition. As you may know by now, Lazerbeak and Cobra both emerged from the main Edit This! challenge tied for first with the same amount of votes. Now, here's the tie breaking Edit This! screenshot originals. Why don't we throw them a little curve as well? Here are four screenshots....pick the ONE you prefer and weave your editing magic. You can both choose whichever (one) screenshot you'd prefer to edit. You both have 72 hours starting from tonight (Wednesday) at midnight EDT. Submit your edits here and we'll put them to a vote via a poll. So pic your pic and.............EDIT THIS!

I know tactically this is quite a poor decision, but i couldn't resist ;D

Hope you like, i know it looks simple but it was actually quite hard work, did lots of stuff on the lighting, shadows etc...

May have a go at a second tommorrow! Time permitting  ;)

Bravo! superb edit Cobra. Lazerbeak really has his work cut out for him now... ;)How about a brief description on how you acheived the effects you did in this edit? I'm sure we'd all learn something... :)

Thanks guys! Sorry for the size btw, was limited by the size of the AC in the original picture, not deliberate ;)

I was giving it a go for ya Clipper, but it was kinda getting all messy! What i will do is next time I do an edit(probz tommorrow) i'll take screen shots as I go along, and then anitate...like a walk through guide :)

Here be mine. I used the Cessna pic as well. I hope nobody thinks I was trying to copy Cobra's awesome edit, I just liked this screen the best (I was planning on using it from the get-go, actually).

My edits seem to be all cloudy/stormy ones. I guess you could call that my "trademark". ;D

I also must give credit to Cobra for a great edit, I can already tell this will be a close race! :)
