Hey, Yancovitch ;)

The Payware forum is for showcasing a new payware purchase....where you got it, if it was on sale, etc.

The Screenshot forum is for showcasing your flight "experience".

If you're just posting shots of your flights it does not matter whether or not you have payware in them. On the other hand, if you're intent is to give other members a heads up on a payware product or just want to show off your new purchase, the Payware forum is the place for that :)

I can understand why yancovitch is asking this question!

I've thought about that too when posting pics, and the grey zone went a little bigger, with the new rules in the contest zone ::) ;)

I don't very often post "Showcase" screen shots, but when I do, they are a mixture of default and Freeware aircraft (I don't buy Aeroplanes), and a mixture of default, Freeware, and Payware scenery effects.
Without allowing this mixture, I wouldn't be able to post any screen shots at all!.... ;)...!

..so I always assume its OK to mix it all up in the screen shot!.. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

still confusing....if one can show both freeware and payware planes on screenshots showcase, then why bother having a payware showcase at all?.....
also it might be nice to have people mention if their shots are fs9....these days it's sometimes hard to tell with all the addons...saves people from having to ask....but this is just a ponder :)

It's not meant to be confusing.

If you buy something and you want to show it off and tell people where to get it use the payware forum. Everything else goes in the screenshot forum :)

If a post gets moved to payware it's usually because the title was something like "My new Carenado" and the shots were nothing but close ups of the aircraft. That should go in "Payware".

Basically if you're not "advertising" a payware product your shots should go in the Screenshot forum ;)
