Goodly afternoon all... :)

Had a little time to do a ninety minute simulated flight with several landing.

Here are four shots all in the same general area.

Nice shots!

Saw the EAA's flying replica (complete with 3cylinder engine spraying oil) a year or so ago. Really rickety airplane!

Nice shots Doug. I like the #2 and #3.

The first one is a good idea, but it suffers from one problem: the horizon line.
In FSX unfortunately, this horizon line doesn't look so good, not realistic. Perhaps, it would have been a good idea to use the body of the plane (including the wings) to mask it.... in such a way that you would see the sun + sky on top of the plane, and the water below, and the line would not be visible.

The last shot suffers from the ground scenery, which is not so good in that place. The default landclass in France is quite terrible. Around Nizza it's above average but still terrible  ;D (for example, the aera around the airport should be totally "city" style, not that empty.

Here is how the area should look like, from top. I took this picture shortly after my departure to Japan, back in September this year :)
