Rare bird visiting Melbourne

Postby reachva » Thu Oct 04, 2012 7:48 am

An IL-86 parked on the remote stand at Melbourne International Airport, Australia (don't ask me how it managed to get there with its range!).

Love this model. Lately been really getting into flying the wonderfully detailed (and free) Tu-134, Tu-154 and IL-86 models even if they're all in Russian and getting an engine started manually is a time consuming process!

We're going to need more than that one fuel truck boys!

Great shot.....when it first popped up I thought it was a photo (only the fuel truck gives it away). Well done 8-) 8-)

Thanks all. Might have to post some more of these exotic visitors to Melbourne when I manage to take shots I'm happy with. I still can't read Cyrillic so flying these is a challenge but boy do they look and sound gorgeous.
