One of the most interest aircraft aside from the Guppy's and all other heavy air transports.

I saw this beast at Oshkosh in '08. Seeing that big of a plane on runway 36 was nuts. It filled Aeroshell Square! I have some pictures of it when I was walking around/under it, when they pushed it down the runway tail first to position it for takeoff and then the takeoff itself.

Its kind of ironic that it takes something strage like this thing to make something that is as beautiful as the Dreamliner. I would have loved to see it up at Oshkosh this year but could not assemble my war funds. It would be a specticle none the less to see.

I saw one on the ramp at McConnell AFB.  I keep meaning to find out when they fly and go catch it departing and/or arriving.

What you can do is use this site

http://www.libhomeradar.org/databaseque ... search.php

Search the registrations and you can see what they're up to

Now the Dreamliner is in service production will become regular and it will be easier to tie them down to certain routes on certain days.

There are about three or four of those, and are used to transfer parts for the 787 from around the world to Boeing Everette plant for final assembly.  I have a picture that I took when I was there of two of them. I can upload if you want.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Nice, it is strange, yet good looking.
