I think you might be a little less enthusiastic about your method after you find out that it melts the asphalt in addition to the ice! ;D

Who said the runway was asphalt?  I'm up delivering cruicial supplies up to Base Mariambo in Antarctica!  It's only ice and snow up there!  (with the addition of lava of course! :D)  Plus, there's dirt underneath a few thousand feet of ice anyway. :)

Well, fly her in the right setup on the right path from the right distance, that's what I got.  And due to unpredicted icing, temperature and pressure changes, I didn't know how much I'd need, so I just filled the tanks.   Plus you never know when an engine could fail.

I think anyone else would have taken this.
Although if you were afraid of ditching in the ocean you could have taken this.

last time I checked, I had been flying crucial supplies for a private research company here, not the military. ;D

But those look cool!  C130's?  And where did you get them? :)

Yes first one is a LC-130 second is a CL-130. Their from the Captain Sim C130 All in one pack. It normally costs 89 euro but I got it for 10 euro in their sale. :)
