Lightning

For the December screenshot comp I mucked around trying to capture lightning, it didn't turn out to be too difficult. Here's one I did this morning.

Not very good weather for flying, I felt safe though because I used to be a Conductor ::)

Nice shot!

Is this the default FSX lightning?

Yes, all weather default.

I set the flight up with loads of thunder clouds, kept hitting the pause/unpause button untill I caught a bolt. While paused you can move the aircraft in the map screen, move it closer to the bolt....the lightning doesn't look good if you get too close though, it looks washed out.
