I added the default FA-18 VC so that I could do some carrier landings........

So you got the tail hook to drop I see, how did you do that, I couldn't get mines to drop??? 8-)

Shift+Q is the default setting.........works fine for me
Since I'm using the default FA-18 VC, there's a lever in the cockpit that works too

hummmmmmmmm I tried that and it wouldn't drop, I'll have to try again then or add this VC. did you get the flares to work? when I press "I" i hear them firing off but dont see them....

maybe you did not put all the effects in or maybe the effects do not work. just try to put the effects in again.

With all this buzz, I just can't help but attempt to repaint it if I am able to get his permission.
But just looking at the textures I can tell it won't be easy. :-/

I think because I already have my hook programmed to another set up for wing fold & tail hook that the shift + Q will not work for me and my set up doesn't work on here either but works on my other planes so I'll just do without the hook till they come out with the final version or install that cockpit with the hook 8-)

How did you add the VC Chuck?  I thought VC's were part of the model?

The VC is not ready for this beta yet Bullock, but you can copy pretty much any other jet fighter entire panel folder content and stick it in the panel folder for this one for now till this jet is fully finshed. I have my F18 hornet's cockpit in my panel folder for this and it works, however no VC views will work no matter what you use only the cockpit view will work. 8-)
