And speaking of land-based aircraft and water, have I told any of you about the times I found the perfect power and elevator settings to make the 747-400 glide acroos the water like a super-fast taxiing floatplane or the times I found the perfect settings to actually land a robinson R22 Beta on water?  (FS actually registered it as a landing! )
I actually have done those, and multiple times over at that!

Indeed.  The Kenmore aircraft flying into & out of Lake Union really have to figure out how to get around the boats.
