Beech Starship WIP

Postby Mitch. » Sun Sep 18, 2011 4:06 am

Gday folks,
Just two quick shots showing the latest update of my Beech Starship project (which can be found here). I have managed to add something that resembles the tip sails and engines nacelles, also successfully exported into FSX without any problems. With each step she's getting closer. 8-)

Thanks for looking. :)

I must have missed the earlier post you linked to, i didnt realise you had done anything like this. I keep looking at tutorials on how to do this, must have a bash one day!

Cant wait to see how it develops :)

Looks great Mitch. I can't wait. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I may still have some pictures since I spent a lot of time around them as a child when one was based in Buffalo.  I'll post 'em if I find them.

Thanks for the kind words gents, inspires me to work a little harder. :)

Can't wait to fly her. :)

Because this is my first model I don't think I'm up to the task of modelling a complete VC. I am willing to leave it open for someone more talented to attempt one. 8-)

Agreed, thanks for the observation. The bloody useless 3-view drawings tell a lie and its not the first time either. Any pictures you may have will be great asset. Thanks Jordan.

oooh. That's gonna be a treat 8-)
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
