Early Delivery

Postby CHUCK79 » Thu Aug 18, 2011 12:13 pm

An early morning Fed Ex flight out of Sea-Tac, headed to Spokane Intl. in Thomas Ruth's Boeing 727-200 package

Using an IFR flight plan (which I almost never do)......the ATC sure keep you busy handing you off all the time.....
Image

Starting my climb over the Cascades mountain range.....pretty dark over the mountains, so no shots.

The sun's up on the East side.....descending to 3900 near Moses Lake, WA....

Vectoring for approach....

On final.....that's I-90 in the background...

Touching down in a moderate crosswind.....hopefully with no broken packages.

Thanks 4 looking :)

Thats a bad-ass worn out looking 727! Having worked for fedex, i can quite believe they run stuff like that!

Although they recently spouted off about how there new triple 7's (think it was triple 7's) are so much better than there fleet of MD-11's.....well they will be, the MD-11 is what, an updated DC-10, a 35 year old design? Of course the triple 7 will be a better aircraft.......

Awesome!  I like those contour trails from the wings in the takeoff and landing ones.

People sure do seem to be into these FedEx Liverys lately.

Its a great livery/logo. I had shirts and caps and all sorts with it on, even a fedex cup - which i still use :) Ever notice the arrow in the E and X? once you see it its all you can see.
