An Aviation Legend

Postby raptor22ms » Thu Jul 21, 2011 3:26 pm

The always breathtaking North American P-51D Mustang. I had here on static display at Oshkosh the night before and, she was begging for some flight time. The Merlin is really loving the cool air and the sunrise over lake Winnebago is stunning. Only in my sim will I get to enjoy this legend of the skies.

Wow. Pity hardly anyone ever flies their childhood dream/favourite planes  :'(.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Yes it is but when a dream cost 2.5 Mil. USD its hard to get the chance. Thats why I want to build and fly a 3/4 scale Titan T-51 Mustang.  :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
