A freeware gem......

Postby CHUCK79 » Tue Jul 05, 2011 9:54 pm

.....Ivan Jurcaga has done a new package of his outstanding Mig-21 for FSX
MiG-21 MF Package

I've always liked the Mig-21.........this is a great looking bird......

The landing was pretty sketchy..........I can't interpret most of the gauges........while I was staring at the gauges, scratchin' my head, and wondering how fast I was going.......I drifted a little (lot) off course.
I still managed to hit the runway though.

Thanks 4 looking ;)

Sorry Chuck. :'(

For me at least, there's way too much good ol' American Muscle to fit myself into than to waste time in something like that.

But that's just me..........I feel the same way about Toyotas. :P

To truly understand your adversary, you must walk a mile in his shoes..........so that when the shootin' starts, you're a mile away.....and you have his shoes ;)

Great shots Chuck. :)

I'm not really a Mig 'fan', but I do like some of them. Just not crazy about this one. My favorities are the 15 and 29.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I think it's pretty well done.....I need to get more familiar with the cockpit gauges and layout though. I was really busy landing it for the first time :o

Let me guess.... half your gauges were non functional because you forgot to switch the systems on

No they all work fine....it's just that some of them are in units that I am not familiar with....such as the speed gauge reading in kilometers instead of knots :)

Impressive shots Chuck !
I still haven't found the time to learn to fly that beast. I flew the F-13 quite a lot, but this one has a totally different cockpit, I must RTFM first  ;D
