Good afternoon all...

Most airports away from large cities still maintain a groomed grass strip along with a hard surface runway or two.

Many bugsmasher or flying farmer landing strips are still well maintained and groomed all year long.

Many an Old Retired Rocking Chair Flying Geezer would jump out of their parked bugsmasher...bend down...grab one piece of green grass and suck on it...they could tell you what octane the last aircraft used that was parked there...

Now if you all believe that I got a bridge to sell...
