pot! You must see quite a bit of shimmering in the trees,
water, fences and some jagged edges when you fly.
To cut down on this, a certain amount of AA (anti-aliasing)
and AS (anisotropy)
must be used in computer graphics!
The more you use of course, the more of a performance hit!
Your trick, my trick, everybody's trick is to find the balance between what looks good and what flies good.
And since there are infinite computer specs, graphic cards,
cpu's and memory, to mention a few, there are infinite
configuration possibilities.
I'm sure you have done this, but in the graphics options section of FSX try
checking "Anti Aliasing" and your filtering to "Anisotropic"
Make sure your Nvidia Control panel allows the sim to
control both AA and AS. I would experiment to see how
this might improve your graphics!
