Wild Alaska Redux for Flying Trucker...NO LIGHTS!

Postby Skunkworks » Tue Mar 01, 2011 9:23 am

Hey Doug I hope you see these and I hope this is what you had in mind. :)
I think this is called KAKE in FSX under Alsaka! Anyway it's a water start in the sim.

These are with no edits and I couldn't remember my exact settings.

Happy Flying... :)

Oh Wow...Awesome Greg...just awesome...well done... :)

Yes many of us never used the Landing or Taxi Lights unless required by Law or Common Sense dictated it.... ;)

It is illegal to land or take off a float plane (not amphibian) from a body of water unless the water landing area is lighted during the period from one half hour past sunset to one half hour before sunrise.
That is for civilians.
Military Operations are dictated by Operational Commitments

Again thanks for those shots...wonderful... ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Very impressive Pepe. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Whew! I'm glad you approve. Your pearls of wisdom are gems to me, especially since I'm new to "bush" flying. Happy flying and happy landings to you from your grasshopper 8-)
