first off let me welcome you to the Forums and the SimV family.  take your shoes off, sit and and stay for a while. .. drinks are down at the bar, and there's food in the fridge (well i hope anyways) lol.

shot looks pretty good, but you may want to zoom out a good bit more so that we can see more of the background and your plane.

Welcome to the nuthouse West. But don't worry, you'll love it here. Nice shot, but you might want to turn on Anti-aliasing on your video card to minimize the jaggies. :)

Thanks for the welcome and the advice, you two. I'll make sure to zoom out and get more of the plane and surrounding scenery, as well as have anti-aliasing on in the future.  :)

Nice shot! Another thing that would help, if your system can handle it without making FSX slower, is to turn up the texture resolution settings.
