It's a nice shot, but I think you could improve:

- Maybe zoom out a little. the helicopter seems a little close.

- how about showing more of the side of the helicopter. (just a little, as you can see some blurries on the the fins on the horizontal stabilizer.)

8-)

Nice shot Doug, you had better get out of there quickly! Those plastic bubble cockpits probably don't afford much protection! ;D

Au contraire, I think when you zoom out and include every single part of the aircraft you lose some detail. It's like in movies when the camera zooms in on peoples faces and reveals all of the minute emotions of the actors. It's easier to captivate audiences that way than just showing the actor's entire bodies.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Goodly morning all... :)

Thanks for the comments and advice all.... ;)

The scenery is from Bushpounder.Com and is the BCU series I believe.

Good afternoon all... :)

Excellent repaint Larry....think that is the first I have seen that one... ;)

Not sure I told you this before but military aviators did wear spurs.

During the First World War/WW1 the German machine gun made cavalry charges almost obsolete.

The Allies took the Cavalry Officers and tried to train them as pilots.

You would have aviators in some very colourful uniforms during 1914, 1915 and 1916 as they continued to wear their old cavalry uniforms.

Thanks Doug. :)

That's funny about the spurs and the ejection seat, but it makes sense.

So that's where the Sam Browne originated. That was the first gun belt I was issued with the Police Dept. I still prefer a good Sam Browne to what they wear now, but without the shoulder harness.

Hi Larry... :)

I think the Sam Brown Belt was around before the World War One...1914 to 1918.

Here is a Link...

It's not a Sam Browne without the shoulder strap. :P

OK. I'll leave quietly. :D
