Marine One

Ok Truck. I'm having a little trouble getting the color just right. And I can't change the pilots clothing due to the way the model is mapped, but tell me what you think.

[edit]I think I have the right hue now, but it might need to be a tad darker.

Wow...I'll jump in as "Truck" might be away being the weekend.

I like the livery, think it looks good... ;)

Great shots as well, does it take much practice to fly that aircraft because you have managed to land in some very delicate area's... :) and kept the shiny side up... ;D

It's actually pretty easy to fly. And controlling rearward flight is not too hard, unless there is high wind. I never did real well with choppers landing on small platforms, but this is easier. With your experience and knowledge, you could probably pick it up very quick. And you can always land it like a fixed wing at strips, only it's even easier with the rotors tilted at 60 degrees. The rotors are usually at 40 degrees for take off unless you need verticle ascent. Then you go to 90. Total range is, 0, 20, 40, 60, and 90.

Wow Larry!  That looks terrific!!  I think the green needs to be quite darker, more of a forest green, but the styling you did on her is perfect! 

That picture you did with the door open cracked me up, Marine One with a leggy lady waiting for commander in chief  ;D   :P

would it be Airforce One being that it is majorily a fixed wing? or is it Marine One, being that it has rotors?


-- honest question.. does the branch of military operating the craft have any bering on what it is called?   If Airforce pilots controlled a helo, and the president is on board, it is still considered "Marine One"?
