Thanks!

It' be nice to see them actually build the full sized aircraft. All they have at the moment is a radio controlled scale model.

It is an interesting concept, but I doubt we will ever see a real one.  There isn't much interest from the passenger airlines, because there are too few window seats.  The large majority of the passengers would be seated in the middle of the aircraft.  For the foreseeable future, I think we are stuck with tubes with wings.

That's a very valid point actually, I've never thought about that...
But I thought about something else: imagine if they would put a giant glass roof in the center ? In the night flights, you would see the stars like nowhere else !
Ok, some sun-screen should be used in daytime, too...

Thanks guys! :)

As far as too few window seats, I get a crick in my neck from looking out them too long, and a nice 19 inch flat-screen TV on the back of the seat in front of me, with a enough entertainment channels to choose from would work just fine.  After all, a lot of the flights would no doubt be over oceans, anyway, and aside from the odd island, about the only thing to watch are clouds.

Still, it would be nice, and if not, convert the concept to a mil transport.  800 to 1000 troops on one aircraft, and equipment like tanks or hummers on another, sounds like a good deal to me.

Perhaps an on-board bus, to carry passengers to and from the restrooms? :D
