Blame it on Patchz - 2

Postby olderndirt » Sun Aug 08, 2010 6:53 pm

Passing Port Angeles, apparently suffering from pressonitis, headed for the Pacific coast.

Image

The coast - turning southbound for the mouth of the Chehalis River and an overnight at Hoquiam.

Image

Washington has some beautiful beaches - unfortunately the sand is often wet.

Image

Turning final for Runway Six at Hoquiam - done for the day.

Image

Once again the forthcoming MilVis C310R.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Great set! I'm from Washington myself, (Kirkland) and there's no better place to fly in my opinion. If you like the desert, head to Spokane or Moses Lake, if you like temperate, anywhere on the west side of the Cascades. I love making trips from Orcas Island down the coast, everything is pretty close which is why I guess it's cool!
High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared

Like most humans, I complain about local weather but usually a look at the 'Weather Channel' and what's happening elsewhere is enough to stifle all complaints.

I don't mind the weather too much, today is just normal, (overcast), but when the sun comes out here it's awesome!

My favourite place to fly is around Port Angeles, and these are some very nice screenshots.

Which scenery package is this?  :o
