#2 is beautiful, do you have a high res version so I can use it as my desktop?

BTW, what DC-3 is that?
I know I saw it somewhere but I can't remember where.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

i didnt even read the intro notes before looking at your pictures, but i could tell that you were on the only 'airplane ski slope' in FS.. Lukla from the pic.  I love flying from there.

don't know how to link high res screenshots.....sorry :(

Start by uploading your hi res shot here: http://imageshack.us/
You don't have to register, but you might want to keep a log of the links for all the shots you upload. Once your shot is uploaded, and you are posting your normal res shots, click on the world icon in the upper left corner of the message tool bar, which will give you {url}{/url}. Add an = after the first url and paste the link; add a space after the first ending bracket and type in Hi Res or whatever you want to use. The final result should look like this in your draft, but with the normal brackets instead of the ones I'm using here so it doesn't cause it to work here.
{url=yourlinkgoeshere} HR{/url}
Looking forward to seeing some hi res of your shots.  :)

Is it just because it's not compressed?
Nor resized either. Most of the shots I upload to ImageShack are at or near my screen resolution of 1920 x 1024 and not compressed at all. If I like a shot enough to think it is worthy, I save the uncompressed, non-resized version before I crop and/or resize and compress for uploading here. A lot of it depends on your normal screen resolution. If you have an older/smaller monitor with a resolution of 1024 x 768 or less, it is unlikely you will notice much difference when viewing a hi res shot. Obviously, if that is the case, you can't create hi res shots.
Eureka!
For some reason I was under the impression that FSX wouldn't be in full screen with that high of a resolution setting......I know ::) but, I never said I knew anything about computers...... I've been running 1024x720 because that's all I thought would give me "full screen"..... Doh!!!!
Thanks for setting me straight :)
btw.....thanks BoeingGuy ;)

Uh oh! His shots were already very competitive. Now it's going to get worse. I've created a monster.
