Where losers are heroes

Postby Lima-Victor-Mike » Sat Jul 24, 2010 6:17 am

As you probably know, the Dutch soccer team lost the World Cup final, even though they tried to kill a few members of the Spanish team.

Nevertheless, when they returned to Holland, they were welcomed like heroes.

From the moment it entered Dutch airspace, the KLM 777 carrying the team was escorted by the all orange F-16 of the RNLAF Solo Display

These are my first shots using FSrecorder. I hope you like them, and C&C is always appreciated.

FSWC -Though it looks like I set the water a little too bright.
NL2000 3d objects -I didn't install the photoreal, but NL2000 has a relatively small module that adds a lot of landmarks in default scenery.
Payware Aerosoft F-16 with free 'Dutch Lion' textures found here (also available for the IRIS F-16)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

OK, I'll pay attention to that, cheers.
As for #2, I guess that's optical illusion, I remember I just strayed a bit high on that one.

[color=#000000]Not being a soccer fan, and failing to click on the links at the top, I did not realize you were re-creating an actual event. Great video.
