Passing Denali- Alaskan Tour part 2

Postby ShaneG_old » Wed Jul 14, 2010 5:51 pm

Passing by Denali on the tour.

At times, I had to wonder if the baby Cessna was going to make it through,
but she performed admirably.

Cheers mates!  :)

PS: can you send me the original, non-resized BMP of the second shot for example ? I want to resize it myself and post it here to see the difference. You have my email in your PMs :)

It's on it's way!  :)

Got it Shane !
And here is the result:

Image

I used PAINT.NET, opened the shot, resized to 1024 wide, saved in JPEG format with 90% quality (could have raised to 95% before reaching the 150 Kb limit).

As you can see, no quality problems here :)

It must be how I have PSP9 set up then, everytime I re-size down, the pic gets very jagged.  :-[

Sometimes, better isn't best.  ;)  ;D

Guess I'll have to get Paint.net  8-)

I don't see much if any difference at all in the shot up top and the shot down here. Why would that be? Them mountains is breathtakin'!

That was the whole purpose of it.
I wanted to show Shane that using Paint.NET, he would get the same result that with the sequence of operations he described. :)
