Italian style...

Postby Daube » Wed Jul 07, 2010 3:40 pm

Hi all,

Just a short flight with the P180 Avanti somewhere above Concrete Mun. I added some external cameras so I could "shoot" her a little bit :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks Patchz for the link :)

Indeed this is FSX. If you pay attention to the last shot, you'll notice the famous "prop behind clouds" problems with the FS9 format planes.

This plane is one of my favorites in FSX. The virtual cockpit is gorgeous, very detailled, well textures and almost completely clickable. The external model and textures are simply some of the best piece of modelling I've ever seen in the whole FS serie. In fact, I would call this plane a "mini-POSKY". Now if only I could remember the name of the original author... kudos to him, anyway, for having built one of the finest FS addons I know about.

[color=#000000]Don't know about the FSX update, but the FS9 version was by Mario Noriega. I think he has built just about every Piaggio that has been built for FS. Too bad he doesn't have time to do the P-136 L1.

As always, I love your work, and still can't believe you don't get paid, by developers to shoot their products.  ;)

However, I think that must be one of the strangest looking planes I see here.  ;D  ;)

I'm going to have to take it for a spin and see what she's like.  8-)
