Just been playing around with Jesus's tips over on Avsim....now running FSX maxed out at a smooth locked 25 fps.....stutter free :D

So...Virtavia (Flight 1) (Alphasim) Islander and default Scottish scenery :)

Excellent shots. I love the details in the scenery and the angle in number 5 is great.

Jesus's guide is interesting in that he states that if you 'want to use N'Hancer, ENBseries and other things' read no further - this guide is not for you.  I have since discarded N'Hancer and incorporated his settings for a dual core CPU.  So far, so good  :).

The thing is, I tried without nhancer and there were just too many jaggies, so I turned it back on and I still kept the frames (well...I lost about 2fps, but am still running at 25 locked :D )

So they do work with nhancer :D

Bears watching - I run in-game AA with anisotropic and it seems fine.

Can someone please give me the link to Jesus's tweaks? I have been having some problems with jaggies and fps lately. Thanks. :)

What was surprising was the difference, of course, in the FSX display settings after changing the .cfg ala Jesus.  Watched my unlimited framerates - 60+, unbelievable but I'm back locked at 30 - solid as a rock and N'Hancer is turned off.
