FSX ReInstall

Postby U4EA » Thu Jun 03, 2010 10:38 pm

Due to my screw-up in an HDEv2 installation, I had to uninstall and reinstall FSX.
Best thing to ever happen!!!  I had recently upgraded my graphics card and now have the best looking sim I have ever had!  Maybe should've done a reinstall anyway! 8-)

Thanx for lookin'!

Looking good.

I had to reinstall mine again too, When I installed World of AI, it, it made my screen just flicker black.

Did the HDE stuff mess ya up?

I haven't tried to re-do the HDE install yet, lovin' the current result too much.  And I'm sorta leaning toward believing that the new ATI card did not "adapt" to FSX til I had to do the reinstall routine.

Here's a noob question:  Would a new graphics deal not exactly pick up on any existing graphics dependent program(s)?
Would a fresh (re)install take full advantage of the new card wherein the card would not fully pick up on all the nuances of an existing program?

There is a VERY noticeable difference!

Even my wife noticed........and she hates FSX! :D
