Had to fly up and check out this jewel of Puget Sound.

That Super Cub really looks like it belongs there. Wish I had a bunch more small airports like it.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Nice Dave very nice... ;)

I can see that Payware is in the making if I want to have a Flight Simulator that has as many great locations for bugsmashing that you and Larry have.

I just don't want to do anything until we move and I find out a little more about Windows 7 and how it works with FSX.

I was hoping a Freeware DeHavillland of Canada radial engine Otter and Beaver, Cessna 185 and a Cessna 337 with various types of landing gear would come out for FSX.

It's surprising to me that this Vashon Island is freeware.

Hi Dave... :)

A little unknown fact I found out over the years.

Almost sixty (60) per-cent of the professional aviators that retired around the same time I did own:
-one or two aircraft
-one aircraft and one sailboat

Sailing like aviating seems to bring us back to our grass roots.  Speed boats are fine if you don't have a mouth full of fillings... ;D

I know a few fellow aviators who share in the cost of a hot air balloon as well.  That takes several folks for a flight unlike a light aircraft or an inland water sailboat.

Ballooning is expensive as well because the envelope I believe is designed with a certain number of hours to it.  Not exactly sure how it works but they do have to be inspected like an aircraft.
